Project Description:

The scope of the project was to refurbish the building which included the installation of new security doors and false ceilings; fit-out of shower and changing areas including sanitary ware and tiling works; fit-out of kitchens including new wall tiling and floor coverings; replacement of roof coverings in conjunction with ventilation works and creation of new office space within the existing building with a fair-faced blockwork finish. The works also included the total refurbishment of the mechanical & electrical services.

The refurbishment of the Fire Station was logistically challenging in that the facility had to remain fully operational throughout in particular allowing full emergency access. Through close customer interface with station manager, works were planned in phases ensuring no disruption to operation of station due to ongoing construction works.
